Happened to hear about this on the "bored and bearded" YouTube channel for hobbyists. It literally allows you to have a much larger "hearts" run if you're doing small batch distilling. If you do a crappy batch though the first 1/2 will smell like diaper. I don't fully understand the science behind this but I promise you'll get a good run. I literally got 30 ml of foreshots, 1 jar of 1 poopy diaper heads and 1 lovely jar of pure sweet tasty distillate.... not to mention an entire jar of tails. That's unheard of from a 1 gallon wash. I recommend trying it. It's cheap and worth your time.
