A little goes a long way.My hair is thinning/receding and I required a product that would allow my hair to feel and look thicker.I was over the moon when I started using this powder (over 1 year ago). My friends started to comment on how much thicker my hair looked. It was mainly down to the ‘dry’ look. I simply sprinkle a small amount of powder onto my hands, rub them together and work it through my hair.It doesn’t do a great job at holding your hair in place, so applying a small amount of hairspray after is recommended.You must be careful with how much you use! If you apply too much, it can make your hair feel too thick and it’s impossible to style! Small portions go a long way.I’m going to continue buying this product, I’ve used a number of different powders and this is the best one so far.A real shame as I have been using this for ages and it works. It's also the cheapest. It's just as good as Fudge and Da'Dude powder, and much better than American Crew boost powder. HOWEVER, I will not be purchasing again as I am a vegan and was really disappointed to learn that Schwarzkopf and got2b are not cruelty-free brands.I have really thin, flyaway hair. It's awful to try and style at all. Even when I had it permed when I was young that fell out overnight - the hairdresser did it again for free - it has always been an absolute nightmare to style in any way at all!I have tried shampoos, styling sprays and creams - you name it. Allvwith very limited results at bestmI discovered this stuff a couple of years ago by chance, I'd ordered some shopping from a supermarket online, the stuff I'd actually ordered wasn't available so was replaced by this.As I had it I thought I may use it as I had it and WOW!!I couldn't believe that I finally, for the first time in my 30 something years, had found something that actually works on my hair.For the first time ever my hair had body, I could make it too things - even curl!It even carries on working the next day and still doesn't look greasy - which is great! My hair is not hair that appreciates being washed every day - the day after being washed when it's a bit greasy it's often easier to style, but this works like a dry shampoo at the same time and my hair didn't look at all greasy and was still full of body.One thing I will warn you of is that a little if this goes a long way! It really does. And be careful if you've never used it before applying directly to hair as it works even better than when applying with your hands. And don't be fooled by not being able to see it on your hands - it's there! This is almost magic as you can barely see it from the word go, it just seems to vanish, but it is quite astounding because it works so well.I've never tried this before my barber applied it after cutting my hair. So far my experience is that it works quite well on short hair to very quickly add some texture and style with matt effect. It doesn't work so well on very short hair, or on medium length, but I feel it's just right at that intervening period for a few weeks. I hate having shiny product look in my hair, or product making it look and feel greasy. This product does just that if applied in moderation.
